According to mvremix.com Papa Roach includes a hidden track on this album with a special message. It was recorded by Jacoby Shaddix and encourages fans to help fight homelessness and hunger. On the track, Shaddix asks fans to take out their phones and text a number for WhyHunger in order to donate $5 to the organization. WhyHunger has been fighting hunger and poverty around the world since 1975.

The new album will be titled "One of These Days" and is scheduled to be released in Summer 2010. The live material was recorded in Binghamton, New York on 8th of December 2009.

Papa Roach Come Back To Europe In April

Mark your calendars as Papa Roach will head over in April. Jerry posted following message in his blog.

"Hey, guys. Just wanted to give an update for those in UK/Europe. If you didn't know, we are going over there in April. Trying to confirm shows in UK, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Austria. I am really excited to get back over there, because we haven't been in a while, and always have great shows. Just remember that we hear you guys asking for us to come to your city / country. We are not ignoring you. We plan on getting to as many places in the world as possible. People say it's a small world until they tour it. It's a BIG friggin place. That being said, we are definitely stoked you guys are asking for us! Stay tuned!"

"Sorry it has been so long since I've connected with the people of Roachland. I got lost in the best tour I've ever been on!! We are home now and I just want to give a huge thanks to all who came out and saw Crue Fest. We felt unstoppable on this tour and we hope we've recruited many new P.R. fans. Looking out and seeing brand new faces was cool and by the end of our show I think you all felt the energy being thrust upon your eardrums. The band feels very fortunate to have had this opportunity to tour with Motley Crue. I had an amazing time pulling double duty with Sixx A.M. as well. I felt the challenge everyday in doing both sets and it was just what I needed to better my chops. As you know we are finishing the new record and let me tell you we all have a strong feeling about this one. As with any record you try and better yourself and your song writing. I believe we have achieved this. The songs have great depth and emotion to them. Even though I wasn't involved in any other record I am very excited for the fans, old and new to hear our newest accomplishment. I can't thank the fellas enough for bringing me on board to help create this new chapter in the P. Roach camp. A huge thanks as well to our amazing crew for getting the job done successfully, day in and day out. We are looking forward to seeing you on our next run which begins in October. Message From Jerry

"Hey, Everybody! We are a little more than halfway done, and so far, everything is sounding great. I know you guys are gonna ask me what it sounds like, and you really won't know until you hear it, but I could give you an idea.... The harder stuff is harder, but more melodic (but not without its screams), the mellow stuff is not as polished as previous records, and the rockin stuff has riffs for days, with the signature P-Roach bounce. We know you guys will love it, because we are stoked about it. We are being meticulous about everything, and sometimes it makes us crazy, but it will all be worth it in the end. ROCK!"

New Papa Roach Album Title

The Pulse of Radio reports that Papa Roach has changed the working title of its next album, which was originally called "Days of War, Nights of Love".

Jacoby Shaddix: "The album's titled 'Metamorphosis' and the album is just that. There's some stuff that's, like, harder and faster on this record that we, you know, have kind of delved away from for a little while. But then also there's, like, a polarity to that. It's like, for us it was just, you know, just kicking down new doors. That's what we do all the time with our music. It's definitely a diverse record, and some of the most powerful music we've written."

"Metamorphosis" is expected to be released in August or September 2008. The exact release date has yet to be set.

Turn Me On Video

Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach and Josh Todd of Buckcherry joined forces for the music video "Turn Me On" by JVC Mobile Entertainment.

Following the vision of Danny Klein (e2amp), Steven Lippman (Steve Lippman Print + Film), and Zak Thornborough (Gargantuan Films), the video features 9 bikinied women and a 1972 Chevelle SS, in the ultimate carwash fantasy. Both Buckcherry's and Papa Roach's songs are featured throughout the video, and it closes with Motley Cr�e's brand new single, "Saints of Los Angeles".

Video Update: Table Book Project

The Devin DeHaven was back in the studio as Papa Roach tracks the new record. He recorded a short message of Jacoby speaking about the table top book project. More info coming soon and check the Riot as a new fan question segment starts again this week.

Papa Roach's new album titled

Get excited because Papa Roach has picked the name of their upcoming album!
It is called "Days of War, Nights of Love" and the title seems to be inspired by a book Jacoby once read.
The band is currently in the studio with producer Jay Baumgardner (head of NRG Studios) recording and mixing their new album, which is due out later this year.

Papa Roach Tour With M�tley Cr�e In 2008

Yesterday M�TLEY CR�E announced in Los Angeles their upcoming summer tour. They will tour around 40 dates in the USA and Canada in July and August.
Footage from the press conference and two-song performance can be viewed at visualwebcaster.com. As expected PAPA ROACH will tour the with them alongside several other bands, including BUCKCHERRY, TRAPT and SIXX: A.M..

10 songs in the can

Jacoby wrote again on BrokenH to give us an update. The new drummer is called Tony Palermo from Unwritten Law. If he'll be with Papa Roach after the recording/writing process is unknown. We'll keep you updated.

"WE R 2 WEEKS IN AND KILLIN IT. WE NOW HAVE TEN SONGS IN THE CAN. WE HAVE NO SHORTAGE IF IDEAS EITHER. ITS ALMOST LIKE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TIME IN A DAY TO GET WHAT WE WANT DONE. ITS A GOOD THING. Album Update

A lil update from Jerry. They guys are working hard on the new album in the Paramour Mansion and so music of 5 songs is done already! But read yourself:

"What's up, y'all! Here we are, at the Paramour again. This place is still amazing, and inspiring. We have music for 5 songs done already, and we have only been here a week! BTW, don't ask me any questions here, because we will pick the questions from the RIOT campaign to answer every week. So, I am sure there are tons of things you want to know, but I can only give you insight to a few things. Some things must remain secret, and others, I don't know about... For some reason, I am good at being vague. I am sure you guys have heard, but we are doing the record with Jay Baumgardner again. We are excited about the direction we are going, and the plans we have for the recording process. We have been writing about 10 hours a day, on average, and are obviously being extremely selective. It is normal for us, but with every record, we know a little more about what we are doing, what we want, and how to get it (musically, of course). We will also be more involved with RIOT. You may even see a post from Tobin. ;) We talked with the BKWLD guys today, and there are some really great things in store for RIOT, and Paparoach.com. I can't really talk about it, but it all will amount to more ways for us to stay in touch with you guys. I look forward to seeing your questions, and hopefully they will be answered soon. Jay Baumgardner For The New Album

Jacoby wrote a message on the Riot confirming that Jay Baumgardner (Infest) will co-produce the next Papa Roach album! The album is supposed to capture the intensity and personality of Papa Roach's live shows which will most likely lead to a raw and heavier record than The Paramour Session.

Split with Dave

Jacoby wrote a message on Papa Roach's official Myspace. He confirmed that the band had to split with Dave so he has enough time to "get his life together". Some more explaining words can be found in the update of Jacoby.

Dave, we will miss you and come back. Papa Roach isn't the same without you!

Tattoo Shop And New Album

Jacoby posted in the Riot and talked a bit about their plans for the new year. Looks like they want to open a tattoo shop which will be called "Love Sick Tattoo".
Furthermore they are going to meet with some producers when they get home to focus on the new album. After a small break the band will meet again on February 15th to start the work on the new album!
